The new (well old) Ogre.....

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have acquired the rights to produce (and sell of course!) the old Otherworld Miniatures Ogre that is now out of print.  See picture below.  This guy comes with 3 different head options, 3 right hands, and 3 left hands.  Hopefully be the basis for some nice conversion work to make a complete tribe of these guys.  Don't worry the Ian Mountain ogre will still be released this summer but considering the size difference he will be relegated to being a 1/2 Ogre.

Richard has a lot of great miniatures and he has just released the first two sets of his player characters which are well..... characterful.  Great stuff.

Ogre almost finished

Well it is almost here.  Just one more hand to finish and some misc. details and it will be finished.

Ian just sent me some updated pics of the ogre.  Gives a better look at the weapon options.  Each one will be attached to a hand.  The only one not pictured is the shield.

The Ogre is coming along.

You guys may remember when I first posted the WIP of the Ogre.  Well Ian is working hard on him after finishing the Orcs.

This is one of my first miniatures that is not inspired by the Monster Manual artwork.  To be honest I just never liked the idea of a skinny Ogre.  I like them big and bulky.  This guy will have two head variations, 3 right hand variations, and three left hand variations.  A grand total of 18 different Ogres you will be able to put together from this one set.

Ogre Size Comparison, Orc Veterans, and Bael WIP

It has been a while since I posted anything so I thought I would put up three updates I got last week.

First up is a WIP shot from Ian of the Pig-Faced Orc Veterans I.  These guys are meant to be a little more heavily armored than their Orc Warrior counter parts.  And no the second one from the left is not a ninja his helmet just isn't finished.

The second picture just shows the Ogre size and bulk as compared to a standard orc.  This guy is going to end up coming with two heads, three right hand, and three left hand options. 

Lastly, Pedro has sent a WIP of Bael.  I believe he will stand about 42mm tall but I would have to check to make sure that is right.

Orcs and the Start of an Ogre

Just got some early WIP pics from Ian and thought I would share.  First up is the beginning of the Ogre.

This guy is going to have two separate heads, three right hand options, and three left hand options.  So you can make 18 different variations of this model.  I am planning on doing 3-4 different Ogres plus a Chieftain.
