Type I Demon almost finished.......

Paul has been working hard and I think the Type I is looking really good.  Some more detailing and hopefully  he will be finished this weekend.  Once that is done all that needs to be done before I start the kickstarter is for Pedro to finish the four Type II Demons and I will have Paul do some special kickstarter only limited edition models.

  1. To quote the great Keanu Reeves, "Whoa!". Paul just keeps moving from strength to strength. Don't mean to gush, but he's in the process of topping even the type III's with this one.

    Re: Kickstarter. Is there a concern that WOTC might assert its IP rights at the last moment as they recently did with another demon-centric crowd funding project?

  4. Holy cow what a cool fig. Can't wait to see them in the shop. I have to say I'm considerably sad you decided to go with loincloths, though. I shudder to think how much grinding and resculpting I would have to do to get them off all the demons so far.

  5. Hello everyone,
    Lots going on. Looks like the 4 Kickstarter specific figures will be an homage to the "A Paladin in Hell" picture, Bensozia Demon Queen of Hags, a Cambion, and of course if you have a Cambion you need to have a certain 6-fingered Cambion Lord.

    @Finch,
    Always a concern but I think the OGL covers what I am doing as long as I don't use WotC specific names such as Vrock, Glabrezu, and Graz'zt. I believe that is what went wrong with Center Stage. Though all they had to do was change their names as far as I know. If anything else has happened please let me know!

    @Allan,
    I will contact you later this week and we can discuss the OSRIC license. Thanks!

    @Spooktalker,
    If I had known how much demon genitalia was in demand these days I would have left the loin cloths off.... though I am pretty sure you can still see the ole family jewels from the back on most of them and of course the Type IV is sporting full on visible junk ;)

  6. Great sculpts and I'm happy to see a new company in the hobby grow it's line. CSM had to change a few names for IP, and one or two sculpts were modified, and others may have been altered slightly from their original concept, so the minis did not have the same look and pose as art from WotC owned properties.

  8. John,
    Most likely launch the kickstarter in late May or Early June. If you aren't into the kickstarter thing this will be available for sale right after the kickstarter ends for a slightly higher price.
