Type IV Demon variant finished

Paul just finished the variant head and trident hand for the Type IV Demon and also started on the second Type III body.  The variant type III body will be compatible with all the variant arms and heads.

Type IV Demon Variation I Finished

Ok, so here are some pictures of the first variation finished.  Some variant bits should be done by this weekend and then he is all done.  Hope you all like him as much as I do.  In the last picture you can see the break down of the individual parts.

Just a word on the leaning forward / top heavy nature of the miniature.  The metal that my caster uses is not soft at all so there should not be an issue with him bending at the legs.  Now having said that you might need to weight the base a little if you want him to stand facing down hill.  On a flat surface though there should not be an issue with him standing up.

Glabrezu: Head 3 and New Arm Variations

Paul has finished the last head and arm variations for the Glabrezu.  Currently we have 3 head variations, 2 right hands, 2 left hands, and the spear combination.  This leaves us with 15 total possible variations for the Glabrezu.  I have plans to do a second body (maybe do a two handed option with a halberd) which will give a total of 30 different variations.

Right now Paul Muller is working on a Nalfashnee.  Hopefully, I will have some good pictures for you sometime this week.

Ogre is coming along.

Ian just sent me some updated pics of the ogre.  Gives a better look at the weapon options.  Each one will be attached to a hand.  The only one not pictured is the shield.

Glabrezu Second Head and Arm Set

Just a quick picture of the seccond head and arm variation.  I am probably going to have Paul do a third head and at least one more arm (most likely with a Scimitar).

The Ogre is coming along.

You guys may remember when I first posted the WIP of the Ogre.  Well Ian is working hard on him after finishing the Orcs.

This is one of my first miniatures that is not inspired by the Monster Manual artwork.  To be honest I just never liked the idea of a skinny Ogre.  I like them big and bulky.  This guy will have two head variations, 3 right hand variations, and three left hand variations.  A grand total of 18 different Ogres you will be able to put together from this one set.

Finished Glabrezu

Well it isn't actually finished as it is getting variant head and a variant arm holding a barbed spear but here it is.......

Blacked out figure is a 28mm miniature so this gives you an idea of the size and bulk.

New Type III Demon and the old ones are going away.

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that the old Type III Demons are going to be discontinued in two weeks.  I will be putting them on sale for 9.99 tonight.  The reason they are going to be discontinued is that I wasn't very happy with them and now I have commissioned Paul Muller to have a go at them.  I think we will all agree that he has done an amazing job so far. 

This guy should be roughly 44mm to the top of his head.  The head will be separate and eventually will have some different options sculpted.  The plan is to have several arm variations including polearms and weapons.  Hopefully this will turn into 3 different Type III demons all with interchangeable heads and arms.  Note the interchangeable arms will be the ones coming out of his chest not the ones with pincers.

  

Something in the Works

Not much to show yet but something in the works from Paul Muller.  Paul might just be the master of skin texture and musculature.  Can you guess what it is going to be?  I always find it interesting to see work in progress pictures.  It allows you to see a little of just how a miniature goes from an armature to the finished product.

Kickstarter Campaign for Pig-Faced Orcs

I just wanted to let everyone know that I have decided to launch a Kickstarter Campaign to see if I could speed up the release of the Pig-Faced Orcs.  This isn't just to get the first four sets into production but also to see if I can get some of the following sets into sculpted and into production faster than otherwise I would be able to.

So what is in it for you?  Well first of all I am offering a multitude of different backer levels that allow you to buy the sets of your choice at between 25% and 30% of the final release price.  When released each set will be $15.99 and I am starting them off at $12.00 (with free shipping for those of you in the United States).  I felt pretty bad about not being able to offer these normally at $12.00 like I originally hoped but I want to give you all the opportunity to get these at a reduced price.

Right now I am on track for these to be released early to mid October.  Thanks for all the support you guys have already given me, it really means a lot to me!

Orcs to the mold maker

Just wanted to update everyone that the Orcs are on their way to the mold maker.  Hopefully have some more information by the end of the month.  Should be good for a September release but I will cautiously say they will be out by October.

Pig-Faced Orc Death Cultists

And they are finished.  Ian just sent me the pics of the finished Death Cultists.

All four packs of orcs will be mailed out in the next day or two.  They are coming from the UK to the US so I am assuming it will be four or five days.  Once I get them I will send them off to the mold maker.  Looking good for a release in the late summer / early fall.

Extending the 10% Discount

I just realized that only having the 10% discount run through the 25th essentially means that anyone who doesn't get paid until the end of the month cannot take advantage of it so I will run the 10% sale through the 5th of July instead.

It has been a while.........

It really has been a while but finally some more concrete news.  Latest update from my mold maker today is that he should have the production molds completed this week and actual production miniatures mailed off to me early next week.  This means I should have pre-orders up either this weekend or early next week.  Here are some pictures of the masters:
